Our standard life of the AC switch is about 10K cycles, and carries various safety approvals, like UL, ENEC, VDE etc. If the customer needs the switch’s life cycles more than 10K cycles, we will have to study its possbility by various tests. Some changes may be required to achieve that life goal. For example, we may have to strengthen the spring and contacts to ahieve the life in order to keep the same electrical performace. And sometimes these changes may involve the safety report modifications and thus incur some fee. New tools can be developed too in the progress.
So this will be a case by case request depending on the switch structure and the customer’s specific needs. And our experienced engineers can always be there to listen to your requirment.
