Dear Customer,
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude to all our customers that have been supporting Canal since we started the company in 1981. I am also thankful for our crew that are diligent and dutiful in their jobs so that we can keep on growing steadily.
Over the past 30 years, we have witnessed the industry change. And we keep accommodating ourselves to the new challenges. For example, in the lighting industry, the household illumination was changed from Edison’s filament bulb, CFL to current LED light, whereas we produced the traditional E27 lampholders to fit the bulb in the ‘80, then switches with high capacity of inrush current after the millennium to meet the demand. Even now the old lampholders are still made in our factory.
The industry changes also happened geographically. As a mechanical components manufacturer, we started our production in Taiwan, then shifted our production sites overseas, especially to China. There are ups and downs like the world financial crisis in 2008 and labor shortages in China, still we stand still and always adapt ourselves to the challenges and never forget to develop good products for the new demands emerging from the changed world.
Above all, through all the changes and challenges, it is always our customers and our crew that we value as our primary assets and are deemed the most important to support us in the past decades. In the future ahead, we will still be mindful of this fact and keep working expertly on every component we make. And be thankful.
Warmest Regards,
James Chen
President
